Exit Partners is pleased to announce the sale of Monticello Spring Water Company (“Monticello”), headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, to Samantha Springs, L.P. (“Samantha Springs”) with its principal location in Keller, Texas.

Monticello is a 100-year old water bottling company, headquartered in the historic Monticello area of Fort Worth. Samantha Springs is an industry leader in Spring Water production, providing exceptional Spring Water Delivery Services to homes and offices in the Dallas-Fort Worth area since 1984.

Exit Partners represented Monticello and its principals in the transaction, which closed on January 2, 2018. “Mike Stengle and the Exit Partners team were tireless in their efforts to get a deal closed,” said Julie and Bubba Voigt, the former owners of Monticello. “They prepared a highly professional Confidential Information Memorandum, and quickly engaged 15-20 potential buyers.” The Voigts ultimately chose the right fit for their company over a higher price.

The water resource and company had been in the Litsey family for five generations, and family members wanted to be certain their long-term customers would remain in good hands. They found that in Joe McCombs, CEO, and the rest of the Samantha Springs “family”. Monticello employees were offered and accepted employment at Samantha Springs. McCombs said, “We are proud to expand our market share in the North and Central Texas markets with this acquisition, and believe it will enhance our customer service and operational efficiencies.”
