Jeff Kim

Jeff is a seasoned corporate development and M&A professional with over 17 years of experience. He has led and executed more than 30 transactions representing over $3 billion in aggregate value, spanning acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships — combining deep technical expertise with commercial, financial, and strategic leadership.

Prior to joining Exit Partners, Jeff served as Corporate Development Director at Berry Corporation, where he led the technical and commercial evaluation, due diligence, negotiation, and execution of strategic transactions. Earlier in his career at California Resources Corporation and Aera Energy, he held progressively broader leadership roles spanning engineering, operations, process improvements, planning, financial analysis, and business development. This diverse background provides Jeff with a unique perspective that bridges operational execution, technical evaluation, and strategic decision-making, enabling him to identify value, assess risk, and structure successful transactions for clients.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He resides in Frisco, Texas with his wife and five children.
